AUTOMATING SCHOOL ATTAINMENT DATA ANALYSIS USING THE MICROSOFT® EXCEL® MACRO RECORDER (1-DAY COURSE)

Overview

Have you ever wished that there was a way of speeding up manual and repetitive tasks in Excel? There is, it’s called Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) – and the Macro Recorder is the place to start learning more about VBA.

This course is aimed at current users of Excel who wish to learn how to automate spreadsheet tasks such as analysing pupil attainment data with PivotTables and PivotCharts, filtering and copying filtered pupil lists using AutoFilter, validating attainment data on spreadsheets and highlighting non-valid data, plus much more.

Using the Macro Recorder, and then tweaking the recorded VBA code, procedures are developed to automate tasks at the click of a button.

No VBA or programming skills are required.
