SCHOOL Overview These 3 workshops are ideal for
current users of Excel who want practical tips on performing essential
analyses on student attainment data. All three workshops are hands-on
throughout the session where the delegate learns by doing, using GCSE data
from a fictional school as the base for the analyses. Master
Class 1 – Comparing Achievement against Targets This session shows the delegate
how to efficiently calculate student achievement against target for each
subject taken by that student and then analyse the resultant data to compare
the data within each subject by class etc. Master
Class 2 – Identifying Underachieving Students Using targets and working grades,
this practical session enables the delegate to utilise Excel to identify
students who are underachieving in subjects, colour code the output
appropriately, and generate intervention groups. Master
Class 3 – Automating GCSE Results Analysis with Excel VBA This session is for delegates with
a current knowledge of Excel Macros and VBA. In this workshop we will design
and develop code in Excel VBA to automatically analyse GCSE results data to
work out (for each student) the number of GCSEs at each grade and whether the
student has achieved 5 or more A* - C grades (including English and Maths),
and the percentage of the cohort achieving certain benchmarks. Booking Details Please contact us
